Tara Da Don & RackRacing Noonie Release "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" My name is David Ruff. I am a producer/songwriter. I have been doing music ever since my mid to late teens and have over 30 years in music. I started my journey as an artist, and now I am a producer and songwriter. I started out old school producing or should I say analog recording/producing and transitioned later into the new age of digital recording and production. I must say I was a late bloomer when it came to transitioning over to digital because, I had become so accustomed and comfortable with analog recording and production. It took some getting used to, but I eventually adapted, and it made the creation and recording process a lot easier.   In January 2000, I started my own independent label known as Off-The-Chain Productions. I didn't have any fancy equipment then or financial backers or any of that. I had all basic analog recording gear. I had a wife and 3 kids and I worked 3 jobs so I could support my family and finance my dream, and it wasn't easy. I formed a group called the Off-The-Chain All-Stars, which included myself and 5 other members. We were like and R&B rap group. I was the C.E.O., the producer, the manager, the financial backer, the booking agent, etc. As you can see, a bulk of the work and responsibilities were on me. Most of the members were young and had no knowledge of the music business or just business in general. I wouldn't say I knew it all, but I definitely knew a lot, because I had been in a previous groups before I had branched out and started my own label, and I got burned in that situation. I lost a lot and it gave me a wakeup call, so I started reading and learning more about the music business, so that I wouldn't be in that situation ever again. Fast forward to 2018, and after taking a lot of financial losses, losing a lot of time and experiencing many disappointments from different artists. I wanted to start fresh and leave all of that behind, so I rebranded myself and Ruff-D Productions was born. I was always trying to look out for everyone else and started putting some of that focus on me.

My goal is to have my music featured in television, films, video games, on established artists/major label artists projects and just for the world to hear my music and what I have to bring to the table in the music industry.
